Grass Fed Beef

Contact us for a complete price list and availability!

We raise a small herd of beef cattle on our pastures in Sunapee, New Hampshire. We raised beef cattle for many years, but in 2016 we started our own Belted Galloway breeding herd. More information on this interesting breed can be found here. We are excited to see our herd grow!

Why Grass Fed? While their are many ways to raise cattle, our farm is best suited for cattle to rotationally graze our pastures throughout the spring, summer, and fall. We feed good quality hay and 'baleage' (fermented hay) throughout the winter. Our cattle have 24/7 access to the outdoors and appropriate shelter during inclement weather. We believe in grass fed beef because it tastes great, and it has been shown to have less total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories than conventionally raised beef.

Where can you find HHF Grass Fed Beef??

We offer retail cuts throughout the year directly from the farm by appointment. Please contact us for a full price sheet and options for pick up. We also have open hours  at the sugarhouse every weekend during the Maple Season (Mar-Apr).

We sell in larger quantities at a discounted price (usually by the whole, half, or quarter cow). Contact us if you are interested in 2019 bulk orders,  we typically sell out every year.

Where else can you try our beef? You can find it on the menu at Fenton's Landing in Sunapee Harbor - enjoy the Harding Hill Wrap, made with our beef chorizo, yum! The Appleseed Restaurant in Bradford also features a beef chorizo burger.
